Conditions of Entry

In consideration of and as a condition to my entry into the HHL&SFF, I, my hiers, executors and administrators agree to waive all and any claim, right or cause of action which I or they may have against the Hillston Hook Line & Sinker Fishing Festival Inc. or its servants, agents and assigns for or arising out of my death, injury, damage or loss of any kind (including equipment) which may suffer or sustain in the course or consequence of my entry/ participation in the competition. I have read the ‘Conditions of Entry” and ‘Rules & Regulations’ both of which I understand and agree to.
Rules

1. Fishing time will be from 8am, Thursday 22nd August to 11am, Sunday 25th August 2024.
2. All regitrations entries must be received by 1pm Saturday 24th August 2024 at Hillston Ex-servicemen’s Club, Hillston.
3.Competition participants must be registered. Registration desk open Thurs, Fri & Sat from 8am.
4. Maps available at registration.
5. All participants must fish to the NSW Fisheries laws & regulations.
6. Competitors must fish between the set boundaries which are ‘downstream from the fence on the bottom side of Ballyrogan Weir Lake Brewster and upstream from the boundary fence on the Whealbah Bridge Reserve.
7. All fish pictures submitted for entry must be legal size & whole ie. not gutted or scaled. All fish will be scrutinised by committee members. Any fish caught illegally or frozen will be disqualified.
8. Any angler or group of anglers will be disqualified if it becomes known they have littered the river or their campsite.
9. No responsibility will be accepted by the committee. Persons enter the competition at their own risk.
10. No shooting or dogs allowed on the reserves.
11. You will receive an SMS at the beginning of fishing, or when you register, welcoming you to the comp. All legal catch photos are to be sent to that number.
All competitors must pick up their registration tag from the Hillston Exies. The tag must be included in any catch photos.
Entrants aged 12 and under are eligible for a goodie bag to be picked up with their tag.
